Who am I to guide you on this path?

Hi, my name is Kat. I grew up in California. I became a yoga teacher and traveled the world. I met my husband while climbing in Tonsai. We traveled together for two years until we finally decided to settle back in his home town in northern Italy. I didn’t know the languages and the culture was just as shock to have me as I was shock to be immersed in a village.

After years of learning and settling of how to be in a new country, I decided that I needed an extra income and decided to become a software engineer as well as teaching yoga.

Our baby girl arrived two years later and it changed my whole world.

I witness two opposite lifestyles, motherhood in USA vs motherhood in Italy. I was very grateful to enjoy maternity leave in Italy. But yet, still after returning to work I struggled to juggle everything between work, being present with my favourite person in the world, and still providing for the house, etc that I spread myself thin. I was in conflict with what I knew : to be the best mom, I had to take care of myself first.

I realize that I wasn’t alone. Many mothers and women in general are not supported in the system we are currently in. I wanted to build a system that would be flexible like how mothers are expected to be:
